On 1st December 2023, the Laureate Institute of Pharmacy at Kathog, continuing its professional Activities with its Red Ribbon Unit organized a guest lecture, Poster making competition and candle light message on World AIDS Day. The duration of the guest lecture was one hour (3:30 pm to 4:30 pm). Prof (Dr.) Ran Singh, Managing Director, Prof (Dr.) M.S Ashawat, Director cum Principal, Prof. (Dr.) CPS Verma Singh, Dean Student welfare and all HODs welcomes the eminent speaker. Dr. K. K. Rattan, who is retired block medical officer Jwalamukhi. The topic of the guest lecture was “HIV AIDS is a Silent Killer” The lecture covered all aspects related to AIDS & importance of AIDS care. This presentation has garnered substantial attendance, with a participation exceeding 200 individuals, comprising both undergraduate students and research scholars. The lecture was perceived by students as highly captivating and informative. Professor CPS Verma, Dean Student Welfare; Head, Department of Pharmacognosy delivered the vote of thanks to the resource person, all teaching, and non-teaching faculty members and students of Laureate Institute of Pharmacy for their continuous support in organizing this event.
