E- Learning: E- learning is an integral part of institute’s teaching learning process. Daily e- learning content is shared with them in various forms for the student engagement and assessment. There are several ICT initiatives of the MHRD, UGC and its Inter University Centres (IUCs) – Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) and Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), in the form of digital platforms which can be accessed by the teachers and students in the college for broadening their horizon of learning. Following is the list of some of the 1CT initiatives along with their access links:

  1. ERP system: The College is utilizing ERP system developed by HPTU. It provides individual portals to students and teachers to access notifications, information, attendance, examination forms and updating of internal and external marks of the students by individual subject teacher.
  2. EBSCO: (https://search.ebscohost.com/Login.aspx)EBSCO is the leading provider of research databases, e-journal and e-package subscription management, book collection development and acquisition management, and a major provider of library technology, e-books and clinical decision solutions for universities, colleges, hospitals, corporations, government, K12 schools and public libraries worldwide. The institution has taken the subscription of the same for the students.
  3. SWAYAM: (https://onlinecourses.swayam2.ac.in/) SWAYAM has been developed cooperatively by MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) with the help of Microsoft and is equipped for facilitating 2,000 courses. The platform offers free access to everyone and hosts courses from class 9 till post-graduation. It helps the students to access the courses taught by professors and faculty of centrally funded institutes like IITs, IIMs, IISERs, etc.
  4. SWAYAMPRABHA: (https://www.swayamprabha.gov.in/) It is a group of 32 DTH channels providing high quality educational curriculum based course contents covering diverse disciplines such as arts, science, commerce, performing arts, social sciences and humanities subjects, engineering, technology, law, medicine, agriculture etc to all teachers, students and citizens across the country interested in lifelong learning. These channels are free to air and can also be accessed through your cable operator. The telecasted videos/lectures are also as archived videos on the Swayamprabha portal.
  5. e-ShodhSindhu: (https://ess.inflibnet.ac.in/) It provides current as well as archival access to more than 15,000 core and peer-reviewed journals and a number of bibliographic, citation and factual databases in different disciplines from a large number of publishers and aggregators to its member institutions including centrally-funded technical institutions, universities and colleges.
  6. Shodhganga: (https://shodhganga.inflibnet.ac.in/) It is a digital repository platform of 2,60,000 Indian Electronic Theses and Dissertations for research students to deposit their Ph.D. theses and make it available to the entire scholarly community in open access. .
  7. National Digital Library: (https://ndl.iitkgp.ac.in/) It is a digital repository of a vast amount of academic content in different formats and provides interface support for leading Indian languages for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular form of access devices and differently-abled learners.
  8. Directory of Open Access Books: (https://doaj.org/) The DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) was launched in 2003 with 300 open access journals. Today, this independent database contains over 16 500 peer-reviewed open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities. Open access journals from all countries and in all languages are welcome to apply for inclusion.
  9. Google Classroom: Google Classroom is a free web service developed by Google for schools that aims to simplify creating, distributing, and grading assignments. The primary purpose of Google Classroom is to streamline the process of sharing files between teachers and students.
  10. e-PG Pathshala: (https://epgp.inflibnet.ac.in/ ) It hosts high quality, curriculum-based, interactive e-content containing 23,000 modules (e-text and video) in 70 Post Graduate disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts and humanities, natural & mathematical sciences.
  11. Vidwan: ( https://vidwan.inflibnet.ac.in/) is a database of experts which provides information about experts to peers, prospective collaborators, funding agencies policy makers and research scholar in the country.
  12. CEC-UGC YouTube Channel : https://sci-hub.hkvisa.net/ A research paper is a special publication written by scientists to be read by other researchers. Papers are primary sources necessary for research – for example, they contain detailed description of new results and experiments. At this time the widest possible distribution of research papers, as well as of other scientific or educational sources, is artificially restricted by copyright laws. Such laws effectively slow down the development of science in human society. The Sci-Hub project, running from 5th September 2011, is challenging the status quo. At the moment, Sci-Hub provides access to hundreds of thousands research papers every day, effectively bypassing any paywalls and restrictions.
