A one-day seminar on World Kidney Day was conducted on 14/03/2024 in Auditorium of Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, VPO. Kathog, Tehsil- Kangra, H.P., 176031. The Programme was started by welcoming the chief guest Dr. Sanjeev Kumar SDM Jawalamukhi and other special guests of the programe Dr. R.S. Jaswal, Dr. Sanjay Bajaj, Dr. K.K. Ratan, Dr. Amitansh, Dr. Ajeet Singh and Keynote speaker of the session Dr. Kamakshi Narula Singh. After the welcome, the program was started by Saraswati Vandana, and a welcoming address was given to all participants by the Director cum Principal of Laureate Institute of Pharmacy Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Ashawat. Later Chief Guest of the event addressed the gathering about the importance of awareness related to Kidney Disease. After that speaker of the workshop Dr. Kamakshi Narula Singh, delivered her talk related to ways to identify diagnose treat, and manage the condition with the help of very relatable examples as various doctors, students, and patients from local areas on dialysis also took part in the event. After the speaker’s talk participants clarified their doubts by a question and answer session.
The workshop was ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) C.P.S Verma, to the Chief Guest, Special Guest, Resource Person, Participants, Patients, their family members, and organizing committee members for their sincere effort and making the program a success.
