A one-day workshop and Guest Lecture entitled ‘Utilization of Hydrotropy, Mixed Hydrptropy and Mixed Solvency Concept to Minimize the Use of Hazardous Organic Solvents’ was conducted on 07/03/2024 in the Auditorium of Laureate Institute of Pharmacy. The Eminent speaker and resource person of the Workshop was Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Maheshwari, Ex-Professor and Head, Pharmacy Department, SGSITS, Indore, M.P, India. Prof (Dr.) M. S. Ashawat, Director cum Principal delivered the welcome address and Prof. (Dr.) C.P.S Verma, Dean Student Welfare and HOD, Department of Pharmacognosy highlighted the significance of the workshop. The speaker explained the different aspects of hydrotropy and how it can replace the organic solvents in assays and identification of drugs. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Pravin Kumar, HOD Department of Pharmaceutics. All the HODs, Faculty members and M. Pharmacy students were present in the workshop.
