Report on Grand Student Induction Programme 2026–27

The Student Induction Programme 2026 for Diploma in Pharmacy, B. Pharm, M. Pharm, and Pharm. D students commenced on 5 August 2026 at Laureate Institute of Pharmacy. The inaugural session began with a traditional Hawan and Pooja ceremony, seeking divine blessings for the successful academic journey and bright future of the newly admitted students.

Prof. (Dr.) Mahendra Singh Ashawat, Director-cum-Principal, Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, warmly welcomed the new students and shared detailed information about the courses, future prospects, and the excellent facilities available at the institute.

Prof. (Dr.) Ran Singh, Managing Director, LIPh, in his inspiring address, welcomed the budding pharmacists, explained the vision and mission of the institute, highlighted how LIPh is catering to quality pharmacy education across India, and assured students of high academic standards and all necessary support and facilities.

Sh. Sandeep Kumar Dhawal, I.P.S., Superintendent of Police (SP), Dehra, District Kangra (H.P.), graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He delivered a motivating talk, guiding students on how to prevent drug addiction, stay safe from cyber-crimes, and follow safe driving practices.

Sh. R.P. Jaiswal, H.P.S., Addl. Superintendent of Police (SP), Jawalamukhi, District Kangra (H.P.), joined as Special Guest.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, H.A.S., Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Jawalamukhi, District Kangra (H.P.), also graced the program as Special Guest, adding prestige and encouragement to the ceremony.

Prof. (Dr.) C.P.S. Verma, Dean Student Welfare, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the esteemed guests, the newly inducted students, their parents and all faculty members for making the inaugural session memorable.

The Induction Programme marked a vibrant beginning to the Academic Session 2026–27, filling the campus with enthusiasm, inspiration and new aspirations of our future pharmacists!
