The Department of Pharmaceutics, Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, in collaboration with APTI, Himachal Pradesh, successfully organized a one-day workshop on: “Dissolution Testing and Bioavailability in Drug Development: Unique Applications of IVIVC in Generic Drug Development”

Dr. Vinay Pandit, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutics, and Faculty members welcomed the esteemed speaker by presenting a bouquet. The workshop featured an enlightening session by the Eminent Speaker, Dr. Umesh V. Banakar, Ph.D., Professor and President, Banakar Consulting Services, Westfield, IN, USA. He provided valuable insights into dissolution testing, bioavailability, IVIVC concepts, regulatory considerations, and their significant applications in generic drug development.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members of various pharmacy colleges of Himachal Pradesh and LIPh. The interactive sessions greatly enriched the participants’ knowledge and strengthened their understanding of the practical and regulatory aspects of IVIVC in generic drug development.
