IPA- National Elocution Competition-2025

Digital Health Revolution: Pharmacy in the Tech Age

It gives us immense pleasure to share that the State Level IPA–National Elocution Competition (NEC) – 2025 was successfully organized on 29th October 2025 at the Conference Hall of Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Kathog, in collaboration with the Education Division of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), LIP. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Ashawat, Director cum Principal, and State Coordinator, who captivated the audience: Pharmacists evolve from dispensers to digital health architects, leveraging telemedicine platforms like Teladoc for seamless virtual consults and same-day deliveries, transforming chronic care for diabetes and neurodegeneration into proactive, data-fueled triumphs. Pharmacy institutes from across Himachal Pradesh participated with great enthusiasm, including Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Dreemz College of Pharmacy, Shiva Institute of Pharmacy, Goutam College of Pharmacy, and Vinayaka College of Pharmacy.

The event was graced by an esteemed panel of judges — Dr. K. K. Rattan (Retd., MBBS), Prof. Jasbir Singh (HOD, LIMIT), and Mr. Mandeep Sharma (Senior Treatment Supervisor) — whose expert evaluation added immense value to the competition.

After an engaging and thought-provoking series of performances, Mr. Manik Singh Chandel secured First Position, while Mr. Abhishek Kumar achieved Second Position.

The event beautifully reflected the commitment of IPA and Laureate Institute of Pharmacy towards nurturing communication excellence, confidence, and professional development among budding pharmacists. The event concluded on a high note with the announcement of semifinal round winners, who received prize money and certificates, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Amardeep Ankalgi,Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, LIPH, Kathog. Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Kumar Kushawaha, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology, expressed profound gratitude to all participants, judges, IPA collaborators, and the IIC team for making the State Level IPA–NEC 2025 a resounding success, reinforcing LIP’s commitment to nurturing eloquent, tech-forward pharmacy leaders.
