On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Women Cell of Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Kangra, proudly organized a thought-provoking program on the theme — “Role of Women in Modern Professional Life with Special Focus on Safety, Empowerment and Leadership” on 9th March 2026. The institute had the honour of welcoming Ms. Renu Sharma, HPS, Additional S.P., Special Task Force, Kangra, as the eminent keynote speaker. She was graciously welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Aditi Kaushik, In-charge Women’s Cell, in the presence of the esteemed faculty members.
Ms. Renu Sharma shared her inspiring journey and shed light on the challenges and triumphs of women in professional spaces. Her words of wisdom motivated everyone to persevere with confidence, courage, and compassion.
The program also featured an engaging panel discussion, where students responded enthusiastically, making the session truly interactive and insightful.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. (Prof.) C. P. S. Verma, Dean, Student Welfare, expressed gratitude to the guest, faculty, and students for their spirited participation.
