Two Days 3rd International Conference on “Mesoscience: Integrating Sciences and Technology in Healthcare and Medical Devices” (20–21 September 2025), hosted in collaboration with the esteemed Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia, concluded with resounding success and academic fervor.
With an outstanding total of 626 registrations from pharmacy colleges across Himachal Pradesh and beyond, and a remarkable 300 scientific abstracts submitted by distinguished contributors from India and Malaysia, the conference truly embodied global outreach and intellectual vibrancy.
The conference commenced with a warm welcome from Dr. Meera Singh, Chief Patron, followed by motivational words from Chief Guest Dr. Shailendra Saraf, Director, NIPER Ahmedabad, inspiring dedication and innovation in pharmaceutical research. Convener Prof. M. S. Ashawat and Prof. Dr. U. S. Mahadeva Rao (UniSZA, Malaysia) set the stage for thought-provoking sessions.
Keynote lectures included Prof. (Dr.) Swarnlata Saraf, Dean, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, who spotlighted advances in mesoscience and herbal cosmetology, and Dr. Arun Chandan, Regional Director, National Medicinal Plant Board, Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, emphasizing the immense potential of Himalayan flora.
Scientific lectures delivered by eminent speakers such as Dr. Akshay Srivastava, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Tekade, Dr. Amit Kumar Pandey (NIPER Ahmedabad), Prof. (Dr.) U.S. Mahadeva Rao (UniSZA Malaysia), and Ms. Lee Wan Zhen (Universiti Malaysia Kelantan) enriched Day 1, followed by lively online oral and poster competitions.
Day 2 featured four scientific lecture sessions with contributions from Prof. (Dr.) Ashish Baldi (MRSPTU Bathinda), Dr. Manish Kumar Chourasia (CSIR-CDRI Lucknow), Dr. Vivek Sharma (Government College of Pharmacy, Rohru), and Dr. Gaurav Ahuja (IIIT-Delhi). Offline poster competitions showcased innovative research from young scholars.
The event concluded with an inspiring valedictory address by Chief Guest Dr. Sudesh Kumar Yadav, Director, CSIR-IHBT, Palampur. Special Guests Dr. Rajendra Guleria (President, APTI Himachal Branch and Director, Abhilashi College of Pharmacy, Mandi) and Dr. Shailesh Sharma (Director, College of Pharmacy, Bela, Punjab) graced the occasion. The prize distribution ceremony celebrated excellence and encouraged further pursuit of research and innovation in healthcare sciences.
